Festival History
From its humble beginnings in 1959 as a simple luncheon to the current 3 day celebration of Greek culture, the Pensacola Greek Festival has truly become a staple of the Pensacola Fall festival season.

It is a true labor of love of the parishioners and friends of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church who sacrifice a great deal of their time and energy to make the festival a memorable experience for the 20,000 plus guests that attend each year.

We hope that you will join us during the second weekend in October to experience the warm hospitality that we Greeks call filoxenia or friendliness to strangers that is inherent in the nature of all Greeks. Celebrate with us by enjoying the music, participating in the dancing, tasting the food and enjoying the good company (parea).

Find inspiration by taking a tour of our beautiful Church. There is much to see and do this year.
